Senior Fund & Regulatory Lawyer

A leading legal firm in St. Peter Port, Guernsey is seeking a highly experienced Senior Funds/Regulatory Lawyer to join their Corporate team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience and the ability to provide expert knowledge in investment funds work and related regulatory matters.

As a Senior Fund & Regulatory Lawyer, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing individual cases and overseeing teams for transaction-specific tasks. They will also provide clear instructions and sound legal advice to clients and intermediaries. In addition, will be expected to critically review third-party documentation to ensure that all legal requirements are met.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a deep understanding of corporate practices, including financial services regulation. They should also have strong communication skills and the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior fee earners. This is a high-autonomy role that involves direct client interactions. As such, the candidate must be able to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills.
