We are seeking a Senior Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Specialist to join a leading local firm. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that plays a critical role in safeguarding regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining risk-based control testing programs, overseeing AML/CDD service providers, and ensuring compliance with Guernsey AML regulations. The successful candidate will drive quality and performance standards, act as a critical reviewer for junior team members and third-party providers, and contribute to local and global projects. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in enhancing processes, enforcing robust controls, and aligning service provider operations.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in Guernsey’s funds and private markets industry, with expertise in AML/CDD regulations, compliance assurance, and control testing. Experience as a Nominated Officer or supporting an MLRO is highly desirable. They should excel in translating regulatory requirements into operational practice and driving service providers to meet high compliance standards. Familiarity with digital AML/CDD solutions is a plus.
