Network Transmission Engineer

Are you a technical maestro with a passion for telecommunications? An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Network Transmission Engineer to become the backbone of a dynamic and forward-looking telecoms sector team.

In this permanent role within CTIO department, you will be:
– The go-to authority on fibre XGS-PON systems.
– A support pillar for copper core System X switch operations.
– Instrumental in broadband MSAN infrastructure management and xDSL service enhancement.

Your main duties include but aren’t limited to:
* Overseeing installation and maintenance of cutting-edge transmission networks including WDM technology
* Ensuring operational integrity through meticulous project management
* Innovating solutions across multi-disciplinary teams such as Mobile Networks

Essential Skills:

• Telecommunication Systems Knowledge: Understanding switching systems is key here-you’ll need familiarity with IP networks along with system security insights.
