Contract Client Accountant

We are currently looking for an experienced accountant to join a leading banking firm. This role will be based in St. Peter Port and the candidate will have the responsibility of preparing financial statements for trust clients, conducting audits on accounting records, reviewing critical documentation, and collaborating with auditors.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in computerised accounting systems and have experience preparing reports for trusts and companies. In addition, they will have excellent communication skills that will enable them to liaise effectively with both clients and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of Guernsey’s regulatory framework is advantageous, and they should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the compliance requirements.

In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from high-net-worth individuals to multinational corporations. They will be responsible for providing them with timely and accurate financial information, ensuring that their accounts are compliant with regulatory requirements.
