A reputable banking institution is seeking a dynamic and highly competent individual to fill the position of Closing Case Officer, based in St Peter Port, Guernsey.

As a Closing Case Officer, the successful candidate will play a vital role in effectively closing client structures. They will be responsible for dissolving companies or terminating trusts by distributing assets, planning transfers, and liaising with beneficiaries or new service providers. Responsibilities also include ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, particularly regarding tax authorities’ updates/registrations during closures. Managing stakeholder relationships both internally and externally throughout the closure process is also part of the duties.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess excellent skills such as meticulous attention to detail, a robust understanding of regulations along with AML/KYC legislation, the ability to conduct thorough due diligence reviews, remarkable communication capabilities to aid seamless liaison efforts, and an unwavering commitment towards maintaining policies/procedures up-to-date reflecting the latest industry standards.
