A leading local client is seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance Officer to join their team in St Peter Port, Guernsey. As a Compliance Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the regulatory standards are met within the company’s compliance framework. They will be responsible for maintaining integrity in financial security, market integrity, client interest protection, and ethical practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory knowledge, risk management, policy interpretation/application, and excellent communication skills. They will be expected to offer guidance on laws and regulations and oversee incident registrations. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with regulatory authorities and ensuring that all compliance-related issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
